Tim Frodsham

Tim Frodsham

Tim has served as the gospel doctrine teacher, primary teacher, nursery leader, scout leader and in other callings. He served a full-time mission in Quebec, Canada. Most important of all, Tim and his late wife LaNae are the parents of three beautiful daughters, followed by three magnificent sons. That precious heritage has been bolstered by 14 grandsons and four granddaughters, all of whom are his pride and joy.

In his professional career, Dr Tim Frodsham served as a principal engineer at Intel Corporation, where he defined and designed the input and output circuitry for Intel’s leading edge microprocessors. During his industrial career, he generated nearly 50 patents in analog circuit design, architecture, test and synchronization techniques. He also served as an adjunct professor at Brigham Young University teaching numerical programming and electronics and as an instructor at Portland Community College teaching mathematics. He has a B.S. and an M.S. in mathematics from Brigham Young University, and an EdD in adult education from Walden University

Catherine Shaeffer Frodsham

Catherine has served as ward and stake relief society and primary presidents, and served twice as the young women’s president. Her favorite calling was as a seminary teacher, which she fulfilled for six years. She ran a preschool out of her home for many years, joyfully mingling her children and grandchildren into the menagerie. She and her late husband Zane are the parent of four boys and one girl, with 22 grandchildren.

The Frodsham and Shaeffer families at our wedding

We met in August of 2022, fell in love and were married in March of 2023. One of the first questions for each other was serving a mission. That was a deal breaker for both of us. We submitted our papers in June of 2023, just after Catherine finished teaching her last semester of seminary, and on June 20th, were called to serve in the France Lyon Mission.
